1970s
The roots of excellence
In the heart of Monte San Pietrangeli, Gilberto and Luciana transform a vision into savoir-faire. An artisanal workshop dedicated to children's footwear is born, where manufacturing precision, attention to detail, and authentic passion lay the foundations for a legacy destined to evolve over time.

80s
International outlook
Evolution takes shape through the introduction of classic women's footwear, developed in dialogue with prestigious international collaborations. This is the decade of opening up to new markets, of research beyond national borders, and of building an increasingly cosmopolitan stylistic sensibility.

NINETIES
Signature assertion
The proprietary brand comes to life, an expression of classic feminine elegance reinterpreted with a distinctive identity.
In parallel, strategic international relations are consolidated and a new production hub is inaugurated: a structural evolution that introduces advanced processes, a more sophisticated approach to procurement, even more rigorous quality standards and increasing attention to the customer experience.

EARLY 2000s
The innovation of contemporary style
The collection evolves towards a new aesthetic, where sporty language meets everyday elegance. Sneakers naturally enter more formal settings, redefining the concept of contemporary versatility. This gives rise to distinctive insights that anticipate the market, such as sneakers with a side zip and an internal wedge, destined to become iconic elements.

Early 2000s
The expansion of Made in Italy
The proprietary brand strengthens its identity through increasingly accurate research on materials, design, and customization. Innovation is recognized with important awards in the sneaker segment, while DLS-branded Made in Italy conquers new international markets. A further expansion of the production hub integrates cutting-edge technologies to support and enhance traditional craftsmanship.

2000s
A new era, between heritage and future
The brand is launching its digital ecosystem and repositioning itself towards a more premium segment, strengthening its contemporary identity. The Factory Store is born, an authentic meeting place with the DLS- world, while the production hub is renewed thanks to a new generation of talents. From 2025, RE-NOVO takes shape: a creative laboratory where DLS-'s manufacturing experience meets the energy of a young team and a sensitivity oriented towards the circularity of Made in Italy materials. A space dedicated to experimentation and innovation, where new distinctive models and stylistic languages come to life, capable of exploring a bolder and more contemporary aesthetic, deliberately distant from the traditional codes of DLS-. A new expression of know-how, projected into the future.
