The Grove works with a palette that evokes beaten earth and autumn leaves — military green, olive, sage — tones that exist in nature before they do in fashion. The upper combines velour and nubuck in three shades from the same color family: each insert is recognizable, but none feel out of place.
The military green velour heart detail is hot-stamped, the eyelets are gold, and the military green cotton laces close the shoe without visual interruptions. The hand-embroidered logo on the olive green patent leather tongue has that controlled sheen that distinguishes a meticulous finish from one that is merely complete.
Calfskin lining, 4 cm white sole: the contrast with white is stark, cleaning up the silhouette without making it too light.
Like every Re-novo piece, the Grove is made from selected leathers processed in Italy, where the material cycle doesn't end — it restarts.
